Prefer high humidity, moist soil, and indirect sunlight (never place in direct sunlight). 

These are typically house plants but can be vining plants. Philodendrons are native to Brazil, but the 'Birkin' is a chimeric mutation from Rojo Congo, and does not exist in the wild. Needs little water in the winter while it is dormant.
