Usually the largest of all Sarracenia species. Produces phyllodium in late summer that remains though winter. Wakes up early in spring but also the earliest to go dormant. Plants can not be brought across state lines. Will find food on its own when grown outside.
Special Care Instructions

Best kept in full sun and sitting in distilled water (tap water in Portland is fine to use). Flowers in early spring and goes into dormancy in winter. Trim pitchers in spring before flowers appear. Hardy to around 15°F.
