Compact and squatty, can produce red flowers. Pitchers can last 2-3 years before turning brown. Do not prune this Sarracenia as you would other species, only prune when the pitcher turns brown. Will find food on its own when grown outside.
Special Care Instructions

Best kept in full sun and sitting in distilled water (tap water in Portland is fine to use). Flowers in early spring and goes into dormancy in winter. Trim individual pitchers that turn brown. Hardy to around 15°F.
